Hey, I’m Lewis - a Social Worker/Psychotherapist, Dog & Cat dad, and Educator supporting other Queer humans through life and its challenges!

Therapy with me is relational - you might laugh, and you might cry! I work with people who exist within and around all of the intersections of whatever it means to be Queer, Black, and Racialized.

Were you ever called a go-getter? Mature for your age? Perhaps you are the perpetually reliable one?

Now you’re exhausted, on the verge of burn-out, and looking around at work or in life and wondering how the hell you got there and who you tricked into giving you this responsibility?

You’re in the right place.

In our young lives we develop skills and rules of functioning in response to the world around us, and as we age we sometimes develop an over-reliance on those skills and rules that no longer serve us - that’s that feeling of imbalance.

In session I will get to know you, your life, story, hardships and joys. Together, we will build a relationship of genuine care and connection as part of the foundation of your healing journey. Through this relationship we get the chance to tailor your treatment to the unique person that you are, and reforge a connection between your mind and your body - rebalancing that which was imbalanced.

I’ll support you to understand how broader social and historical forces influence where you are today, and how you can move forward in the world. Let’s take your skills, what you already know, and adapt it to serve the you that exists now.

Honest & relational therapy – it’s time to put you first.

- Lewis
